Baby Zaman dies

Baby Zaman
Seasoned film actor Baby Zaman died on Friday at Bangladesh Medical College Hospital. He was 79. He had been suffering from kidney and liver problems. His namaz-e-janaza was held near a mosque near his residence at Lalmatia. He was buried at the graveyard on the Salimullah Road at Mohammadpur on Friday. Full story

Bangladeshi expatriate Canadian filmmaker Golam Mustafa’s film A Drop of Love wins the best dramatic film award in Californian Film Awards. The award was presented in California, San Diego’s famous Bahia Bisetti Hotel on Saturday in presence of media and prominent people, said a press release.
