Pathshala stages Khepa Pagoler Pachal

Local troupe Theater Pathshala staged Khepa Pagoler Pachal at the Shaheed Minar of Rajnagar Degree College of Rajanagar upazila in Moulvibazar on Tuesday to observe the International Mother Language Day on 21st February.
The play highlights deviation of the political leaders and some freedom fighters from the spirit of the liberation war, who do not even bother to making alliance with the proved war criminals for their own interests.
Protagonist of the play Pagol (insane) urges the patriotic people to resist such alliances of the Pakistani collaborators, politicians and freedom fighters.
Directed by directed by Abdus Samad Azad, Md Nazrul Islam played the role of Pagol while Monuj Datta performed the character of Pakistani collaborator Bepari Saheb in the play.
Other characters were performed by Md Imran Hussain, Sheikh Jumon Ahmed, Salah Uddin Kader, Mujib, Masum, Saddam, Rabbi, Shahed, Pilu, Rumi and Munni. Songs were delivered by Nihar Ranjan Roy Nilu, Ali Yousuf and Ramindra Dey.
Local lawmaker Syed Mohsin Ali, principal of Rajnagar Degree College Jilal Uddin Ahmed, teachers of the college and Rajnagar upzila level officers, among others were present at the show.
