Wing Commander (retd) M Hamidullah Khan Bir Pratik was laid to rest at Banani graveyard in the city with full military honours on Sunday.

Hamidullah, also BNP freedom fighter affairs secretary, was buried at 12:40pm who died at Combined Military Hospital in Dhaka cantonment on Friday. His last namaz-e-janaza was held at air force central mosque in Dhaka cantonment at 11:30am Sunday, according to BNP sources.

Awami League and BNP leaders and senior officials of army, navy and air force, among others, were present.

His qul khwani will be held at his residence after Magrib prayers on Monday.
