Ukraine to open consular office in DhakaAdmin

Ukraine will open consular office in Bangladesh with a view to expanding cooperation and strengthening trade relation between the two countries.
Ambassador of Ukraine, Oleksandr D Shevchenko, said this during a meeting with food minister Abdur Razzaque at the latter’s office Thursday, said an official release.
The Ukrainian envoy said he had to face many problems as he had to work from New Delhi over Bangladesh affairs.
He mentioned that the food minister of his country visited Bangladesh in August last and understood the necessity of strengthening relation between the two countries.
The food minister thanked the Ukrainian government through the envoy for taking steps for opening consular office in Bangladesh.
Food secretary Barun Dev Mitra, DG of food directorate Ahmed Hossain Khan, among others, were present in the meeting.
