Crude bombs were hurled into a Ganajagaran Mancha convoy at Chirirbandar in Dinajpur on on Saturday evening.
No one was hurt in the attack, Baki Billah, an organiser of Ganajagaran Mancha, said.
Baki said that the convoy was headed towards Thakurgaon from Saidpur in Nilphamari and as it it reached Chirirbandar, some people hurled three crude bombs, a petrol bomb and stones at two vehicles that trailed the convoy. The bombs missed the vehicles.
The Chirirbandar police officer-in-charge, Abdur Rahman, said that they were on duty in the area but did not notice any such incident.
Ganajagaran Mancha activists brought out a procession at Shahbagh in in the capital Dhaka protesting at the attack.
An activist of Ganajagaran Mancha was injured earlier as bombs were hurled at one of the buses carrying activists at Sherpur in Bogra on Friday.
