PM spends afternoon with celebrities

The prime minister, Sheikh Hasina, on Friday spent a unique afternoon with the country’s leading poets, writers, journalists, academics, artistes and intellectuals as she arranged a get-together for them at her official Ganabhaban residence.
The grassy lawn of Ganabhaban resonated with the presence of the huge number of the celebrities. The prime minister arrived at the Ganabhaban South Lawn at 3:37pm wearing an ash-colour saree dotted with designs.
Later, Sheikh Hasina, talked to the celebrated personalities and enquired about their wellbeing by walking up to them.
She spent a few memorable moments with the luminaries by gossiping with them and enjoying patriotic and folk songs and recitation of poems.
