29 crude bombs recovered from city’s RampuraNew Age Online
Police recovered 29 crude bombs and one magazine from near Rampura Bridge on Tuesday morning, reported UNB.
Officer-in-charge of Rampura Police Station Kripa Krishna Bala said city corporation cleaners first noticed the bombs kept in small plants on the road island near the bridge in the morning.
On information, several teams from Rampura police station led by sub inspector Tipu Sultan and sub inspector Sharif went to the spot and recovered the crude bombs and the magazine.
A bomb disposal unit from the Detective Branch will defuse the crude bombs, the police officer said.
