Noted Tagore singers Sajed Akbar and Salma Akbar presented evergreen Tagore songs at a duet concert held on Friday at the Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre in Gulshan.
The couple began the show with a duet presentation of popular Tagore song Bhoy Hote Tobo Abhoyo Majhey. Their melodies rendition of the inspirational song entertained the houseful audience at the show.
The couple also gave another duet presentation of a very popular inspirational Tagore song titled Jadi Tor Daak Shuney Keo.
Subsequently, Salma Akbar rendered solo. Her passionate voice modulation while presenting romantic songs such as Badhu Kon Alo Laglo Chokhey and Dure Kothai Dure Dure entertained the audience.
She was equally entertaining while rendering popular Tagore songs such as Shudhu Tomar Bani Noy and Tumi Dak Diyechho Kon Sakale.
Sajed Akbar also received audience applause for his presentation of popular songs such as Ki Gabo Ami Ki Shonabo, Aro Koto Dure Achhey Se Anondodham, Chokker Aloy Dekhechilam and Ami Jakhan Chhilam Andho.
The duo wrapped up the show presenting another duet presentation of an inspirational Tagore song titled Ekla Chalo Rey.
