100 petrol bombs recovered in the capital, 2 arrested

Rapid Action Battalion and police on Friday recovered 100 live petrol bombs, gunpowder and 50 kilograms of splinter from a house at Geneva Camp at Mohammadpur in the city, reported BSS.
The law enforcers also arrested two persons from the spot.
They are Nadim, 25, and Shahin, 30, who were making petrol bombs for explosion in the capital, deputy director of RAB Didar told BSS.
He said patrol police and RAB rushed to the spot when a petrol bomb was exploded at Geneva Camp and blew up fingers of a person at about 3:00pm.
Soon after the incident, RAB and police raided a house at Geneva Camp. They recovered 100 petrol bombs, 120 more incomplete petrol bombs, one kg of gunpowder and 50kg splinter from there, the RAB official said.
Bomb squad also rushed to the spot for defusing the bombs.
