Door to agreement is still open: Khaleda

New Age Online

The door to reach an agreement with the government to end the political deadlock is still open, says opposition leader Khaleda Zia, reported bdnews24.com.
‘There is still chance to reach an understanding by leaving the path of torture, suppression,’ she said addressing the government in a statement issued on Monday evening.
The BNP chairperson also urged the election commission to put the preparations for parliamentary elections on hold.
Her call came on the third day of the 18-Party alliance’s Bangladesh-wide blockade.
