Finance Minister, a ‘national rubbish’: RizviNew Age Online
BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, on Tuesday, came down heavily on Finance Minister AMA Muhith, who had earlier taken a swipe at BNP senior vice-chairman Tarique Rahman.
The Finance Minister made the remarks to please his master, Rizvi said, at a news briefing in the party’s Naya Paltan central office.
Earlier, Muhith said that there was no comparison between Tarique Rahman and Sajeeb Wazed Joy, son of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. He termed Tarique as a ‘robber’.
Citing the share market and bank scams, Rizvi said people are paying for the scandals during this minister’s time.
Finance Minister has turned into a ‘national rubbish’ now, he said.
The joint secretary general also spoke about the rally scheduled to be held on October 25 in the capital.
The activists of BNP will turn out in the rally unarmed, said Rizvi, adding that if they are barred, they will resist with what they get close to them.
The activists will turn into gunners then, he said.
Rizvi said BNP will hold their rally on October 25 in Dhaka at any cost.
