Eid on small screen
Like previous years, different TV channels have lined up a weeklong programmes for their viewers to celebrate the Eid-ul-Azha festival. This time the programmes by the private TV channels include films, telefilms, teleplays, drama serials, talk shows, music shows, children’s programmes, magazine programmes and many others. Some of the programmes to be aried on the first three days of Eid festival are given below:
Preity O Shubhechchhha
Telefilm Preity O Shubhechchhha, written by Zakir Hossain Ujjal and directed by Zahid Hasan, will be aired on Eid day at 3:05pm. The telefilm portrays a young man who returns from abroad after many years to get married. Nipun and Zahid Hasan are casts of the telefilm.
Feature film Bhalobasar Rang will be aired at 10:10am on the second day of Eid. Directed by Shahin Sumon, the romantic film stars Razzak, Amit Hasan, Miju Ahmed, and others.
Meyeti Ki Pratisodh Porayon?
Teleplay Meyeti Ki Pratisodh Porayon? will be aired on third day of Eid at 8:50pm. Written by Masum Reza and directed by Syed Awlad, the play depicts a playwright who writes a play about a vindictive main character. Touquir Ahmed, Tarin, Abul Hayat and others acted in the play.
Feature film Mrittika Maya will be aired at 2:30pm on Eid day. The Gazi Rakayet’s film reveals the life struggle of an aged, poor potter. Raisul Islam Asad, Mamunur Rashid, Lutfar Rahman George and others acted in the film.
Mostafa Sarwar Farooki’s film Television will be aired on second day of Eid at 11:10pm. Starred by Tisha, Mosharraf Karim and Chanchal Chowdhury, the film depicts the incidents that take place in a remote locality when a man brings in a television for the first time in that region.
Srabonty O Pallober Galpo
Single episode play Srabonty O Pallober Galpo will be aired on third day of Eid at 7:50pm. The play is an adaptation of Rabeya Khatun’s story of the same name by Fazlul Karim. Directed by Abul Haya, the romantic play depicts the triangle love. Richi Solaiman, Shahed and others acted in the play.
Sato Janomer Swapno
Sabina Yasmin’s solo musical programme Sato Janomer Swapno will be aired on Eid day at 9:15pm. Directed by Arif Khan, Yasmin will sing the popular numbers at the show.
Teleplay Nari will be aired on second day of Eid at 11:15pm. Mahmud Didar’s play depicts a bohemian young man who declares that he can read the fortune. Shahiduzzaman Selim, Sadia Islam Mou and others perform in the play.
Telefilm Order will be aired on third day of Eid at 2:35pm. Mostafa Kamal Raz’s play features an influential man and his two assistants who fall in love with one girl. The play stars Zahid Hasan, Moushumi, and others.
Abdul Jalil-er Bidesh Jatra
Teleplay Abdul Jalil-er Bidesh Jatra, written by Bipasa Hayat and directed by Tauqir Ahmed, will be aired on Eid day at 8:00pm. The play portrays a frustrated man who wants to make his fortune abroad. Tauqir Ahmed, Aporna and others acted in the play.
SA Alik’s telefilm Rodelar Golpo will be aired on second day of Eid at 2:10pm. It depicts a film director who receives a mysterious phone call from a woman asking him to make a film on her. Moushumi, Jitu and others peform in the film.
Teleplay Sangsar, written by Humayun Ahmed and directed by Meher Afroz Shaon, will be aired on third day of Eid at 8:00pm. The play depicts the meager life of a poor family.
Goru Jokhon Guru
Teleplay Goru Jokhon Guru, written by Salauddin Selim and directed by Rishita Zahan, will be aired on Eid day at 7:20pm. Sajal, Mehzabein and others perform in the play that depicts a friendship between a girl and a cow.
Praner Majhe Sudha Achhe
Telefilm Praner Majhe Sudha Achhe will be aired on the second day of Eid at 4:05pm. The play depicts a couple who lost the charm in thier conjugal life. Apurbo and Tarin are the major actors of the play.
Atopar Ekti Phone
Teleplay Attopar Ekti Phone, written by Zahidul Islam and directed by Imam Ripon, will be aired on third day of Eid at 9:20pm. Vidya Sinha Mim, Mukit Zakaria and others perform in the play that features a man who always fibs with others.
Ar Matro Koida Din
The six-episode series Ar Matro Koida Din will be aired every day at 11:05pm. Mir Sabbir and Chanchal Chowdhury and others perfrom in the play, written by Brindabon Das and directed by Syed Shakil, which depicts a pandemonium situation of a village as a rumor spreads that the world will be destroyed in two days.
Telefilm Biborno Bhalobasa, written and directed by Mahon Khan, will be aired on second day of Eid at 11:30pm, which features a man who decides to rob for treatment his sister. Prova, Shahed, Joy among others perform in the film.
Five-episode play Bou Chor will be aired everyday at 7:50pm. Shah Mohammad Naimur Karim’s play, directed by Zahid Hasan, depicts two thieves who get an assignment to steal a bride. Zahid Hasan and Vidya Sinha Mim and others perform in the play.
Imraul Rafat’s teleplay Hawa Badol will be aired on Eid day at 7:45pm. Tisha and Saju Khadem and others perform in the play that features a girl who was brought up like a boy.
Se Je Dakatia Banshi
Seven-episode play Se Je Dakatia Banshi, written by Litu Sakhawat and directed by Shahiduzzaman Selim, will be aired on Eid days at 9:00pm. The play depicts contemporary social life. Shahiduzzamn Selim, Ishita and others perform in the play.
Mojid Miyar Sambhabya Bhabisswat
Arko Mostafa’s teleplay Mojid Miyar Sambhabya Bhabisswat will be aired on third day of Eid at 7:45pm, which depicts a spiritual man who can tell future just touching others belongings. Asish Khandokar, Farhana Mithu and others have acted in the play.
Teleplay Shesher Golpo, written by Litu Sakhawat and directed by Sakal Ahmed, will be aired on Eid day at 3:00pm. It depicts romantic relation between a rich man and a poor woman played by Sajal and Bindu.
Ekjon Nishu Kutum O Dropodir Golpo
Teleplay Ekjon Nishu Kutum O Dropodir Golpo, written by Farhad Limon and directed by Mohammad Ziauddin, will be aired on the second day of Eid at 3:00pm. Moushumi Nag, Rawnak Hasan and others perform in the play which depicts struggles of a prostitute.
Teleplay Bhalobasar Bou, written by Mamtazuddin Ahmed and directed by Abul Hayat, will be aired on third day of Eid at 3:00pm. It features funny stories that take place when an expatriate man desires to marry a local girl respectively played by Chanchal Chowdhury and Nadia.
Telefilm Harano Sur, written by Sagor Zahan and directed by Ripon Miyan, will be aired on Eid day at 11:20pm.Mosharraf Karim, Vidya Sinha Mim and others perfom in the triangular love story.
Griho Tyag Private Ltd
The seven-episode drama serial Griho Tyag Private Ltd will be aired everyday at 6:10pm. Shamim Ahmed Rony comedy series depicts three bothers played by Mir Sabbir, Maznum Mizan and others.
Kingbodontir Aaj Holud Sandhya
Telefilm Kingbodontir Aaj Holud Sandhya will be aired on third day of Eid at 11:20pm. Anisur Rahman Milan and Tisha play the lead roles in the film, written by Sagor Zahan and directed ratan Ripon, which depicts complexity in a girl’s life as her former boy friend appear on her wedding day.
Matia Banu Shuku’s telefilm Projapoti Dana will be aired on Eid day at 3:10pm. which features struggle of a single mother. Tauquir Ahmed, Susoma Sarkar and others perform in the film.
Golam Sohrab Dodul’s teleplay Kaktaruyar Deshey will be aired on the third day of Eid at 9:15pm. It portrays a young woman who falls in love with a novelist. Aporna Ghosh, Rawnak Hasan and others perform in the play.
Ashfaq Nipun’s drama serial Mukhosh will be aired everyday at 10:30pm, which depicts the relation between a man and a woman since their childhood. Nisho, Alif and others act in the play.
Bandhu Amra Tin Jon
Teleplay Bandhu Amra Tin Jon, written by Zakir Hossain Ujjal and directed by Shamim Zaman, will be aired at 7:30pm. Mosharraf Karim, Shamim Zaman and others perform in the play that features the friendship among three physically challenged friends.
English Rock Town
Channel 16 will air an English five-episode music programme English Rock Town every day at 11:30pm beginning from the Eid day. Directed by Arif Rahman Shiblee, each episode will feature the biography and music of world famous bands like Linking Park, Creed, Metallica, Iron Maiden and Bon Jovi respectively starting from the Eid day.
