The 19th session of parliament will begin on Thursday afternoon, according to the parliament secretariat.
Earlier on Aug 19, President Abdul Hamid had convened the 19th session of parliament on September 12.
It might be the last session of the ninth parliament of the Awami League-led grand alliance government and will begin at 5:00pm tomorrow.
The session might continue for five to six sittings after beginning and then may go for a long period of adjournment.
The BNP lawmakers were yet to decide whether they will join the session.
On Sept 10, BNP chief whip Zainul Abdin Farroque at a discussion had said the party would decide in a couple of days whether to join the parliament session beginning September 12.
Out of 394 working days in the past 18 sessions, the BNP lawmakers had attended the parliament for 75 days. The leader of the opposition Khaleda Zia attended only 10 sittings.
