Vote for ‘boat’ to carry on progress: PMNew Age Online
Prime minister Sheikh Hasina on Saturday urged the countrymen to vote for ‘Boat’ (polls symbol of Awami League) in the next general elections to keep moving the wheels of development in the country.
‘I want your vote for Nouka (boat) in the next elections to complete the rest of the development works undertaken by the government and keep continue the development of the country,’ she said.
The PM said it is only Awami League who can accomplish the progress when it comes to power.
Addressing a rally at Shaheed Monju stadium of Araihajar upazila in Narayanganj district Sheikh Hasina said if BNP comes to power again they will establish a reign of terror and engage in corruptions in the country, halting the country’s growth.
She said Bangladesh will also head for ruination if the corrupt BNP is voted to power again.
Prime Minister said the BNP has been trying to save the war criminals from the trial by creating anarchy in the country and killing people but they will not be able to save the war criminals, however hard they try.
‘BNP had tried to save the killers of country’s founding President Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by different ways including making some of them lawmakers but they failed to save them. This time they will also fail to save the war criminals and the trial of war criminals will be held in this soil,’ she declared.
