Kamal’s first ICC blunder!Staff Correspondent
AHM Mustafa Kamal committed his first blunder as the vice-president of International Cricket Council when he made certain comments on local TV channels about the BPL match-fixing issue at his business office on Wednesday.
His comments came a day after the ICC stated that it will not make any further comments on the issue after it formally announced that nine people have been charged for various offences related to Bangladesh Premier League.
Kamal, also a former president of the Bangladesh Cricket Board, is known for his gaffes before the microphone but he was at least free from it for quite sometime after leaving the BCB last year.
He formally took over as the ICC vice-president in July this year but was not engaged in any media activities.
New Age sought a clarification from the ICC on whether it has changed its policy of making no further comments on the issue, but received no reply.
