Swindling the commoners

Swindling is now a common affair around the country. A number of swindlers are cheating the commoners almost everywhere in Bangladesh. Although in most occasions these occurrences happen just in front of the law enforces, they hardly pay any attention. And even sometimes the victims accuse the law enforces of acting as accomplices in the swindling.
There are different types of swindling. A very common and discussed scenario is the fraud groups cheating the unemployed people giving hope to manage jobs abroad with eye-catching salary, off course in exchange of a few hundred thousand taka. In Dhaka city or out of the capital there are many fake organizations swindling the common people.
In the health sector, many are being cheated by the quack doctors who treat the patients without proper knowledge and certification. It is a common place event all over the country.
A number of people are being deceived in passport office. We thank the army officials who manage the process far better than earlier, but as a matter of fact the swindling is still going on there.
A good number of people are deceived by manpower agencies and almost all of them are poor. Agencies take a large amount of money hoping that it will provide them with a great opportunity to work in abroad. But after they give away all of their savings to these agencies, they are swindled by many ways. Some of them can never get the visa and some do not get the promised job.
Malaysia will be taking a large number of workers from Bangladesh. The Bangladesh government should take proper steps so that no one could be swindled.
Now another common place treachery is counterfeit money. There are a small number of people who can identify the counterfeit money from the real ones. And this kind of swindling has been going on for decades but the authorities failed to stop it completely. Ultimately, the people at large are being swindled.
