BCL leader celebrates birthday closing dining hall

RU Correspondent

The residential students of Madar Bux hall of Rajshahi University suffered a lot on Tuesday night, as the dining room remained closed due to celebration of birthday of a hall unit leader of Bangladesh Chhatra League.
Madar Bux hall unit general secretary of the ruling Awami League-backed student organisation Delower Hossain celebrated his birthday on Tuesday night closing the dining room and the games room of the hall.
The residential students of the hall had to have their dinner at private restaurants outside the hall.
Delower, however, told New Age, ‘I have closed the dining room for a single night only for my birthday celebration and the students have their meals in the canteen.’
Hall provost Sherejjaman said Delowar obtained a verbal permission to celebrate his birthday in the games room.
‘But, I do not know that whether he has celebrated his birthday closing the dining room.’
