Badda clinch senior div football

Two late goals from Badda Jagorani Sangsad striker Mohammad Sabbir helped his team come from a goal behind and become champions in the senior division football league with a 2-1 win over Dhaka Wanderers in their last league match on Wednesday.
Mohammad Apu gave Wanderers a 75th-minute lead which they could protect until the 89th minute when Sabbir scored the equaliser for the Badda side.
Sabbir netted the second in stoppage time as their team secured highest 28 points from their 12 matches to lift the title.
Jatrabari Krira Chakra became runners-up with 26 points from 12 matches while Badda finished fourth with 15 points in total.
Sunrise Sporting Club face relegation to the second division league as they are yet to earn any point after playing their 11th match of the league.
Their nearest rivals are sixth-placed Mohakhali XI who already have 10 points in their tally.
