Cruel, chilling winter!

The temperature is too low to bear throughout the country. Another unwelcomed winter has come with excruciating suffering. Of course, those who live in concrete buildings with comfort are enjoying the winter as it is lovely to keep warm under the blankets.
But it is a matter of regret that a large percentage of our population is living under poverty and could not buy proper clothing for the winter. And what about those who live under the open sky? Yesterday, when I was coming home from a wedding ceremony at around midnight, I saw many people sleeping beside the road covering themselves only with Lungi! We also may find many helpless people at the railway stations and the bus stations.
I would just like to extend my deepest sympathy to them and request all to please try and help them as much as one can. We can sleep at night comfortably but should we not think about those who can not buy suitable clothing for the chilling winter? Many organizations have already taken initiatives to help these helpless people around the country. So, if we collaborate with these organizations along with individual donations, it will be great help to the poor and helpless of our community.
I also urge political leaders, government and non government organizations to help these people. So let us start helping these people to pass this cruel winter.
