For her beautiful appearance and credible acting as well, model turned actress Bidya Sinha Mim has already made her a regular and admired artiste on television plays and films. Mim talked about her Eid endeavors at an interview with New Age.
According to Mim, she has acted in about 17 plays and telefilms on the Eid-Ul-Azha festival for different television channels. ‘I can’t mention any specific play as a mentionable one; however, it is good that there was variation in the roles I acted in,’ Mim told New Age.
Brishtir Din, in which Mim will play a lead character, will be aired today on NTV.
Mim also stated that as a meticulous artiste, she always wants to act in diverse characters. ‘Versatility in roles is really important. But, I’ve interest to act in two classic characters: Parboti, one of the leading characters of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay’s Devdas, and the in the role of a mentally challenged girl,’ said Mim, who has already made a permanent room in people’s minds through her quality acting in the film Aamar Achey Jol and television plays Neel Chhoya, Jhorer Raat, Fuler Din, Poush Faguner Pal and Jadur Katthi.
Mim expressed that she also gives importance on the director and the story while she selects a play. ‘A good story is the soul of a play which becomes more superior if the director is capable,’ observed Mim, who came into everyone’s attention after winning the beauty contest Lux Channel i Superstar in 2007.
Mim’s will watch her on NTV at Eid special single episode play Bristir Din, which is an adaptation of a foreign story by Tuhin Abostha. The play, which also stars Jayanta Chattapadhyay and Arman Parvez Murad , depicts a middle class family of three where the father clashes with his young daughter in a rainy evening when he misunderstands her being in a relation with the private tutor.
Bidya Sinha Mim hopes that the audience will love all her plays on Eid.
